The communication with the host was excellent, and he was very friendly and accommodating when checking us in. The shower pressure was fantastic, and the beds were really comfy. The location was great, with easy access to attractions such as Wentworth Woodhouse, Elscar, and the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. it was a great value for money and a memorable stay.

There were a couple of drawbacks to our experience. Upon arrival, the boiler wasn't working, leaving us without heating or hot water.

The location of the lodge is great, with nearby attractions like Wentworth Woodhouse and Yorkshire Sculpture Park. The beds and bedding were comfortable and the towels were lovely. The host was friendly and provided good communication.

There was only a breakfast bar with four high stools to eat at, which was not ideal for a family of five.
